MTN SA has flagged the Global Telecom Business (GTB) award it received in London in the area of wireless network infrastructure innovation.
In a statement released yesterday MTN said the award presented at a ceremony in London on 04 June 2013 was for the successful implementation of cVidya’s MoneyMapRevenue Assurance solution.
The company said since deployment in 2010 the solution has yielded a substantial return on investment. cVidya is a leading provider of revenue analytics solutions for communications and digital service providers.
MTN SA head of Revenue Assurance Quintus de Beer said “cVidya’s advanced solution has enabled us to move beyond reactive revenue assurance to take a proactive risk management approach that has improved billing accuracy and our customers’ experience, while boosting revenue and EBITDA.”
Having seen a significant improvement in business and operational efficiency, MTN SA is expanding cVidya’s coverage to additional revenue intelligence analytics domains such as risk management and new lines of business.
“We are delighted to receive this award which recognises a major step forward in the management of a complex and fast-changing aspect of our business,” says de Beer.
MTN SA said The GTB awards are for projects, not products, designed to acknowledge excellence in collaboration between operators and vendors.
